  • "My wife and I have been looking for a new bike for months. Have been to a few Harley stores and had horrible experiences rude sales people and pushy sales people. We are both in sales for 20 years are self. We have laughed and thought WOW from what we have seen and heard. Within 15 minutes of arriving at Buckminns we were greated by Larry Crossman a sales rep. We are looking at 2 different bike styles and really needed to ride both to make are choice. In minutes Larry had us on the road test driving both bikes. And my wife said I really like this guy I said me to we are buying from him. He told us more than we ever knew about both bikes in a very laid back way.   • "Over the past several years I have been making my purchases of parts, accessories, motor clothes, having my bike serviced and stored by Buckminn's. This wasn't done just for their proximity to me but the reputation that they have built with me through sales and service. I know there are numerous H-D dealerships accessible to me but I found Buckminn's reputation for professional yet friendly customer service leaves me as a loyal customer. Every time I arrive at their store I feel welcome to be there and not just another customer. I recently purchased a 2014 Ultra Limited. The process from test drive to negotiating the deal was easier than I expected. Working with Matt, Larry, Kent and Jammie made it so. I know in my travels I will visit other H-D dealerships but this will always be home."

  • "I bought my first street glide in 2012 from Matt and Jamey Hale. I've known Jamey since we were kids. Jamey is top notch in his field as well as the rest of the staff. I just purchased a 2014 street glide. 2 years later and the experience is the same with Larry. I've been to many Harley dealerships and none feel like stepping into your own home like Buckminns! Even if your not buying anything you can feel Free to walk in and hang out with the staff and not feel like your a number waiting in line. Service is great too especially Ronny vaughn. Great place to buy a Harley whether it's new, used, first one or one of many."

  • "I lost throttle function on a trip from Houston to Akron. I was lucky that your dealership came up as the closet one.

    Service began with prompt recovery. It was not an easy fix as the computer was sending false signals during diagnostics due to a short in wiring. Your mechanics stayed late until it was fixed!

    I have been traveling on Harley's since 1993 and have had many occasions when I needed road service.

    IN 21 YEARS I HAVE NEVER HAD AS GOOD OF SEVICE AS THE SERVICE I RECEIVED AT BUCKMINN'S D&D!!!

  • "I brought my FLTRU in for new tires, the 30K service and asked your team to trouble shoot an electrical "gremlim". Dave (my service technician) reached out to me several times explaining what was going on as did Ronnie. They replaced only what needed to be replaced keeping me informed along the way. Once back in the wind, it was like riding a brand new bike. I now have confidence that I won't experience another charging system problem while on my upcoming multi-state tour. Thank you very much for restoring my 'peace of mind'."

  • "I purchased my 2017 FLHXS from Buckminn's and had a great experience during and after the purchase. May sales person was Larry but I also closed my deal with Jamie, Keith helped in the pre-sale portion. While I was at the dealership I was never pressured into anything and was assisted with any questions I had. The entire staff at the dealership was extremely helpful, my wife and I purchased several items including new helmets some accessories for my new bike and also some clothes. I have the privilege to deal with pretty must everyone in the dealership and could not be happier. With out any doubt this is my new Harley dealership and I will continue to do business and enjoy visiting with the folks that work there because they are all class acts."

  • "the team of men and weman that work at this dealership are a great group of people and a pleasure for me to do business with. i have shopped other dealerships but have left aggravated after being hassled half to death by sales associates, but you won't get that at Buckminns if you need help they will gladly assist you the girls in motor cloths are awesome ! and after all i bought my 2015 street glide special from Kent he was a very nice and helpful guy. He took the time to answer all my questions and made sure that i understood everything it was a pleasure doing business with him. and the guys that work the parts counter that got my accessories together for me. they where very helpful and knowledgeable i appreciate the help and time you guys spent making sure the experience of the first Harley Davidson purchase no less then awesome !"

  • "In today's society, the only things we tend to hear about are things that are bad. NOT THIS PLACE!! This was probably the absolutely BEST HD dealership that I've ever visited. The staff was super nice, friendly, professional and cordial. We were in town for the Col Charles Young Ride from Xenia to DC and had some issues with one of the bikes. Dealership was awesome. Came to assist us very quickly and just made the entire experience great! If you are riding through this area, please stop by and visit. They also have a great selection of gear in stock."

  • "Stumbled across 2003 1200 Customer Sportster W/ 2300 miles and 2003 Fat Boy with 1200 miles that were pristine. Buckminns picked both up a good drive from Xenia. Was very honest and quick, and even called to tell I didn't need some things I was worried about since the bikes had been sitting for so long. Serviced both bikes and even dropped them at my house. Couldn't ask for any better service or nicer people!"

  • "First shopped my local H-D dealership in Dayton. They wanted way more for the same brand new bike bottom line cash in hand deal. Well above MSRP. Buckminn's no nonsense, Mgt looked it up and said here is how much below MSRP we can sell it for. Salesman knew the bike and its features well provided test ride and was non commissioned. Simply an excellent & professional experience from start to finish with no buyers remorse or finding the bike for less later. Financing the same. Things were well explained and shown in writing. No "packing". HOG membership & battery tender were provided no charge. Professional and on point. Accessories the same, guys pushed nothing but were knowledgeable helpful willing to look things up and research and patiently. Got my 20 percent new bike buyers discount on everything and they even gave me a little extra time to get everything together. Bought my bike on a Saturday and had to change some accessories ordered a bit on Monday no re-stock fee was charged. Staff and management have went above and beyond. Service I had the stage 3 kit done to my bike with dyno tune including some non standard sprocket & pulley changes. Service & mechanic did great took changes in stride and performed work in a timely fashion. Bike sounds & runs fantastic. Starts well idles well pulls hard and smooth no downside. In fact no rattles or valve-train noise. I have no problems recommending Buckminn's to anyone for anything H-D."

  • "Absolutely a pleasure dealing with Kent M and JamieH and the entire sales team! Our family bought a beautiful used street glide without any pressure ! We were in and out in a hour and in about 1 week have ridden alomost 1000 miles. Just what the doctor ordered! The ladies who work in the clothing area are a blessing to customers. They all made it fun to get some new clothing and easy to find the right helmet! We will definately be back for clothing and some bike bling!"

  • "There are other Harley Davidson dealers in the area and the others may even be bigger, but bigger is not always better in this case.Recently I was shopping around for a new bike and after being totally dissatisfied at another dealership, I found Buckminn's to be a breath of fresh air. Larry the sales person and Kent the sales manager were very friendly, customer focused, didn't try to switch us to something we didn't want, and were willing to work with us.I really value customer service and Buckminn's knows how to do it right, they've been around for a long time and I can see why they have a loyal customer base, they really take care of their past, present, and future customers. Although this particular deal didn't work out, I'll be back as a customer in the future for sure, bypassing the other options in the area and I'd suggest you do the same thing! One of the most dreaded parts of the process is always the negotiation of price and financing. Kent and Jamie (the finance manager) made this painless and just got to the point, the way a deal should be, simple and not confusing or painful. As I said earlier, I didn't ride away on a new bike this time but they've earned my future business for sure. So, if you want loud music, lots of hype, confusing old school sales tactics, and to be treated like a number on someones sales board, go to the other guy in town. If you want to be treated like a family member, go to Buckminn's."
